Going to get worse before it gets better...

The world seems to be doing something no one thought it would do.

It looks like things are falling apart.

Wait a minute. How could this be happening? Aren't we told daily by every media source that the world is great, shiny, peaceful and that we need to be more tolerant of every behavior, culture, religion and idea everyone and anyone around us has?

Are we not in the most prosperous and powerful nation on earth? Don't we in this country have the local grocery store to buy our food, hot water from the tap, the Internet to plug our brains into and meet that special someone, and the office or small business on the other side of town providing us our weekly paycheck? Shouldn't we feel secure? I mean we elect people to represent us whom we can trust, don't we?

The Hard Truth is that nothing in this world goes on forever as it always has, that decisions that people make always contain an element of error, and that nothing in this world has intrinsic value that cannot be removed, destroyed, lost or taken away at a moments notice.

We have at this moment in time a crisis brewing in the world that is scaring a lot of people. People who have relied on government or banks or investment houses to protect them or provide for their futures are suddenly panicked. People have relied upon themselves or on other people to provide the security they need to live their lives day to day. But how quickly we all find this to be inadequate. How quickly we find we can't fix every problem the world has to throw at us. No matter how much money or effort we put into the problem. How quickly we find out what little a voice we really have when those who are elected to lead but choose not to hear refuse to act on our behalf.

We deeply desire someone or something else to help us through times like these. One who can truly be trusted. One who will not lie, will not make promises he will not keep, and one who knows, without error, what is best for us. And most of all, one who actually has the power to fix the problem, hold us, and make things better. What would any of us trade the insecurity of trusting men, even ones named Obama, for the security and peace in knowing we can trust one that won't let us down?

There is such a person, and that person is God.

Instead of denying his existence and ignoring his power to help, try relying on Him as the only authority CAPABLE of making things better. Because like it or not, choose to believe it or not, He is.

And He has a bailout plan. In fact, He has a plan to do much more for you than fix your struggling 401k.

Rely on Him, and you'll be set for life.

This country and this world are passing away. Its going to get worse before it gets better.
