No Stimulus Need Apply

It's happened before. God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. God destroyed the world (the system which existed on the earth prior) with water, leaving only 8 people alive. God says He'll do it again.

There is coming a day of global chaos that no government, no leader, no military or police force, no amount of money or personal resource will be able to protect you from. There is coming a day of judgement that will shock, terrify and confound men and women all over the world. Nothing in the world will remain the same and it will never return to how it was before the day began. It won't be aliens invading or an asteroid destroying the earth, and it won't be the end of all life from excess carbon emissions. (Relax, use all the hairspray you want, and drive as much as you're heart desires and your wallet can afford.) Nothing we are doing (sorry to take the steam out of your bells Al Gore,) or can do will stop this day from coming, and it won't be some faceless or nondescript natural force causing the destruction of the world.

The bible refers to this time as Tribulation. It is the end of the world, a seven year period of time, and before it's over the majority of people on the earth will be dead, most of the world will be burning, drinkable water will be nearly unavailable, famine and disease will engulf the planet, and brutal violence, hatred and the worst of human sinfulness will dominate man's existence. God is not pleased with the course of humanity, and He has promised us He will have His day. The Tribulation.

The second coming of Jesus Christ is a blessing and joy to believers in Him, and should strike terror into the hearts of those who deny Him, mock Him, or take His name in vein as on par with a cuss word. God has granted His son Jesus the power to judge the world, and He's told us this is going to happen. If you've ever made a promise you didn't keep or have had someone break a promise made to you, you understand the ease at which we as human beings fall short. Rest assured, there is still one who will always keep His promises. And God has promised to judge the unrighteous.

The beginning of the end will be marked by an event that will come without warning. Christian's (those who make up the legitimate Church of Jesus Christ) will be taken out of the world. This event, which is commonly called The Rapture, scripture teaches will occur. The people who believe in Jesus Christ, those who have been forgiven of their sins by their faith in Christ, will be called out of the world. Children and those mentally unable to have a full understanding of their sinfulness will also be removed. After all the plane crashes, car accidents, etc. are over, people left in the world will wonder what happened, and many will even deny that such an event has a supernatural explanation.

A build up to this event is described in the bible and it is preceded by growing sinfulness, depravity, and global unrest. Pull up any news website or pay even the weakest attention to current events, and you will find financial and social problems growing in the world at such an alarming rate, one would begin to question if we as human beings have the ability anymore to come up with a solution. Governments are on the verge of breakdown and bankruptcy. Society is backwards and has lost its ability to discern right from wrong, good from bad, or truth from error. Human life is no longer sacred, no one can be held accountable, and tolerance of every kind of behavior is preached and practiced.

There will come a day when only a supernatural solution to our problems will be possible. We are quickly becoming unable to cure the disease we all suffer from; sinful, darkened and hardened hearts. If you are prepared to suffer the end of the world, prepared in your own mind to be around for these few years that will write the final act in the life of this world, continue to deny that God will have His day. If you are afraid, fear God's wrath, and seek hope in a time when there seems to be none, feel comfort in the knowledge that in as much as Christ is a judge of this unrighteous world, He is your savior from it if you will only turn to Him in repentance of your sins, the very cause for the necessity of judgement.

No billion dollar stimulus package and no emission standard laws touted by the next in a long line of snake oil salesmen will save our system, our government, or our world.

It's coming without warning. Be prepared. Only one has the power to take you backstage during the big show. Best get started getting to know Him. You don't want to catch this one.
